In our last blog, we discussed some everyday household kitchen items you can use to clean your bathroom. Read on for more tips!
Shampoo: Shampoo is an effective way to clean if you don’t have any other cleaning products. It also is useful for making chrome faucets shine!
Vinegar: Vinegar is extremely useful when you want to do an intense clean on your bathroom and the fixtures inside of it. Use full-strength white vinegar and always rinse with cold water. If you want to remove hard-water stains in your tub, pour 3 cups of white vinegar and run your spout with hot water. Let the tub fill and then soak for at least 4 hours. When the water drains, you should be able to scrub out all the stains.
Oven Cleaner: If you have yellow brownish rust stains around your tub, you can use oven cleaner to effectively remove them. However, this should only be used for white porcelain tubs and not colored ones since this may fade color.
